The Jujujoints app serves to help patients connect with dispensaries holding the Jujujoints brand. Allowing location displays dispensaries in the vicinty that would be glad to help with further information once the necessary contact information is provided.

"* The app gathers the following information from patients

The app prompts users (patient) for the following information 5 pieces of information. The first and most important is that patients must verify that their age is 18+ in order to access the app contents. If not age of majority then the patient can simply opt out by clicking on the appropriate field and they will have the app removed from their mobile device. Name, email address and phone number are also required information pieces which help validate the patient - these fields must be properly and accurately filled and are the sole responsibility of the patient. The fourth piece of information is not mandatory but it does help in matching patients with the closest locations that can help with treatment.

* How the app gathers information from patients

Patients must input the information on the app itself, the app will not record any information other that what is provided. If the app requires user input for personal information the patient will be requests to enter the information. For instance, the patient will be promoted to allow their location.

Allowing location means the app is aware of the approximate location of the patient. The patient location information will be used to determine the closest dispensary to the location of the patient and then to connect both parties. This means that the patient information will be sent to the email address of the authorized representative for the closest dispensary. The user name, email and phone number will be provided to the closest dispensary, the patient approximate location will not be shared with the dispensary.

* How is patient information is stored and protected

Patient information will not be stored on any database. After choosing a dispensary of their choice, should the patient provide their contact details (name, email and phone number) then this information will be sent via email of the chosen dispensary and also to [email protected].

* Who can access the patient information

The chosen dispensary and [email protected] will have access to the patient contact details.

* Method to notify patients of udates to privacy policy

Any app users will be sent an email update on any changes to privacy policy."
